“So… What Is It I Actually Do?” (And How It Might Help You Feel Like Yourself Again)

It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post…And honestly, this one has been sitting in my head for ages, because so many people ask me what it is I actually do.  And fair enough! Social media’s great, but with character limits, it’s hard to explain it properly. So here it is, everything I offer, how it works, and why it helps. If you’ve been curious, overwhelmed, or quietly wondering if there’s something here for you, this is for you.


Who I Work With

I work with the quietly overwhelmed, the ones who are always “holding it together” on the outside, but feel like they’re falling apart inside. The ones who are tired all the time, but can’t switch off. Who lie in bed replaying conversations. Who feel emotions too deeply, or not at all. Who’ve been told they’re too sensitive, too emotional, or “a bit much". Who people come to for help, but have no idea how to ask for support themselves. I work with people who’ve been through trauma, grief, stress, burnout, or big life changes, or sometimes nothing dramatic at all, just a slow, steady build-up of “too much.” If you feel like you’re always trying to stay one step ahead of the crash, or you’ve already crashed , you’re in the right place.


Let’s Start With Coaching (Because It Comes With Tools That Truly Work)

This isn’t “talk about your feelings and hope for the best” coaching.

This is science-backed, body-aware support, shaped by lived experience, nervous system wisdom, and tools that genuinely work when you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or exhausted.

These are the same tools that helped me when everything felt like too much.They helped me understand myself, manage big emotions, respond instead of react, and slowly rebuild safety in my body and mind.That’s why I trained in them. Because they work. And now I get to share them with you.


What We Might Explore in a Session:

Everyone’s session is different, because I meet you where you are. You don’t have to know what you need. You don’t need to be calm or clear. You just show up, and I’ll guide the rest.

Together we might explore:

  • How to turn the volume up or down on emotions — not by avoiding them, but by learning how they work and how to respond to them differently

  • How to ask for what you need, set boundaries, and express yourself — without guilt or a 3-day shame spiral

  • How to cope in the moment, when everything feels too much — using tools that actually work in real-time

  • How to understand what your nervous system is doing and gently shift it back into a place of safety

  • How to reconnect to your body, especially if you’ve been in survival mode for so long you’ve stopped noticing what it needs


We might use:

  • Somatic healing – to process stuck emotions through your body, not just your thoughts

  • Breathwork – to calm your nervous system and shift your state within minutes

  • EFT tapping – a powerful tool to soothe overwhelm and rewire emotional patterns

  • Mindfulness + gentle movement – to bring you back into the moment when your mind’s in overdrive

  • Therapeutic art – for when words aren’t enough or your emotions need a softer doorway out

  • Energy healing – to settle the parts of you that feel scattered, depleted, or energetically “off”

  • DBT skills – the ones that literally saved my life — practical, powerful tools that teach emotional strength, real self-compassion, and how to respond instead of react


Why This Works

Because your nervous system needs more than good intentions. It needs to feel safe enough to change.

This work is all about creating that internal safety, physically and emotionally, so your system isn’t stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.When your nervous system feels safer, everything gets easier: decisions, relationships, self-trust, sleep, energy, boundaries, clarity, all of it.

You’ll leave each session with 2 or 3 simple home practices, small, manageable tools to try out between sessions. And here’s why that matters:

The session is the spark — but the fire is lit afterwards.

The real change happens when you gently try something new in your own time and space. That’s when your nervous system starts learning it’s safe to do things differently. That’s when your confidence builds. That’s where you start to trust yourself again.

These practices are never overwhelming.They’re designed to fit into your day, even on the days you’re barely functioning.They’re subtle. But they’re powerful.

That’s you empowering yourself with tools that work.


You’re Not Alone Between Sessions

I’ll check in with you during the week, because healing can be wobbly, and you might have days where you wonder if you’re doing it right (you are). You’re also free to message me if you feel stuck, lost, unsure, or just need someone to remind you of what you’re working towards.

Support doesn’t stop when the session ends. You’re held the whole way.


Not Ready to Talk? You Can Still Heal (Deeply)

Some days, talking is too much.And that’s okay.

These sessions offer powerful support without needing you to explain anything.Your nervous system gets what it needs, without a single word.


Indian Head Massage

Think of this as hands-on nervous system support. It’s slow, grounding work through the scalp, neck, jaw, face, and shoulders, the places your body clings to stress, even when you think you’re “holding it together.”

It eases tension you didn’t even realise you were carrying.People often leave saying things like:

  • “My head feels clear for the first time in ages”

  • “My jaw has actually dropped, in a good way”

  • “I feel like I can breathe again”

It’s deeply calming, non-invasive, and so much more than just a massage.


Reiki

This is energy healing, quiet, gentle, and surprisingly powerful. You lie back, fully clothed, under warm blankets in a soft, cosy space. There’s no need to talk, explain, or perform. Just rest.

During the session, I gently work with your body’s energy to support release, restoration, and balance. Reiki encourages your system to move out of “survival mode” and into a more settled, self-healing state, physically, emotionally, and energetically.

It’s ideal when:

  • You are emotionally overwhelmed but can't express it in words

  • You’re stuck in your head and craving some calm

  • You just want someone to hold space while your body does what it needs to do

Clients often describe:

  • Feeling unexpectedly calm or grounded

  • Emotions rising and releasing gently, without overwhelm

  • A sense of lightness or “coming back into themselves”

You don’t have to understand how it works, just be open to how it feels.


2-Hour Total Nervous System Reset

This is everything, for the days you’re done, empty, and can’t hold it all anymore.

This session includes:

  • Breathwork to shift your state

  • Progressive muscle relaxation to release tension

  • Indian Head Massage to quiet your body and mind

  • Reiki to soothe your emotional body

  • Mini Sound Bath with Crystal bowls, ocean drum, Koshi chimes, Tibetan bowls

Two full hours of nervous system repair. You don’t have to explain anything. You just rest. I’ll take care of the rest.


Mini Retreat-Style Classes (Private or Small Group)

Sometimes, you want structure, but not pressure. You want rest, but not silence. You want tools, but softly held. These classes are your sweet spot.

Come solo or bring a friend. We go slow, stay cosy, and keep it simple.

Nurture and Restore – Find Your Balance

Breathwork + Yoga Nidra (deep guided rest that feels like a nap your nervous system has been begging for).This one rebalances your system in the gentlest way possible.


Flow and Release – Let Go and Feel Light

EFT tapping, gentle intuitive movement, and grounding relaxation to shift emotional stuckness and physical heaviness.Perfect if you’re holding a lot and don’t know where to start.


Harmonise and Heal – Rebalance and Reconnect

Reiki, heart-based meditation, and a sound bath with crystal bowls, Koshi chimes, ocean drum and Tibetan bowls. You don’t just relax, your whole system recalibrates.

These aren’t “classes” where you have to keep up.They’re mini retreats for your body and mind to come back into balance, no pressure, no talking, no expectations.
