There’s something about hot stones that makes the whole body give a sigh of relief. This treatment combines soothing massage with smooth heated stones to help melt through deep tension while still feeling deeply relaxing and comforting at the same time. Think warm oils, heated blankets, twinkling lights and the heat of the stones working into tight shoulders, sore backs and muscles that have been clenched for far too long. A lot of women book this treatment when they feel completely worn down physically and mentally. The kind of tiredness where your whole body feels tight, heavy and overworked. The heat allows the muscles to relax more deeply, which means the treatment can ease tension without needing loads of pressure or leaving you feeling battered afterwards. It’s slow, grounding and deeply cosy. Before the treatment we’ll have a little chat about how you’ve been feeling, where you’re holding tension and what your body needs that day. Then once you’re tucked under the towels and crocheted blankets with the warm oils and stones, it’s your time to properly stop for a while. Afterwards, there’s never any rushing you back out the door. You’ll have a bottle of water, a few minutes to come back around properly and later I’ll send you a reflection from the session along with aftercare and supportive tools for home too. Honestly, this treatment is especially lovely for women who are constantly cold, tense, exhausted or feeling like stress has settled into their whole body.
